Hudson's Party

This posting is a tad late (tad meaning about 4 weeks) but here's a recap of Hudson's birthday party. He invited 5 of his best buddies over to bounce and eat hot dogs and birthday cake. There wasn't a lot of bouncing or hot dog eating or cake eating! The kids had more fun running through the house and playing with Hudson's toys than they did jumping in the moon bounce. Did I miss the memo that said bounces houses were a three year old thing? Despite the fact that 4 out of 6 kids weren't fans of hot dogs or chocolate cake with chocolate icing (really kids? really?) everyone had a blast. We are so grateful that Hudson has a group of fun, well behaved and apparently, healthy eating friends!

Hudson giving Lilly a ride on the dirt bike.

Hudson opening his presents. He didn't crack a smile until they were all open. It's serious business.

The dirt bike cake. In your face Betty Crocker (we have a history)

Some of the party animals. They're mostly chowing down on that plate of strawberries and grapes.

Moon bounces cause crazy thing to happen to one's hair :)

Happy Birthday Hudson! Thanks for the memo about the Moon Bounce. I'll put that one back for later usage. I thought all kids loved cake, hot dogs and a moon bounce. Bummer.
