Addison

So... our sweet little Addi girl is growing up right in front of my sappy eyes. She's such a big lady, full of spunk and mischief! Her main goal in life right now is to try and do everything Hudson does. She'll wrestle with daddy, eat with a fork, ride the dirt bike and just about anything else she sees her big brother doing. She has full blown conversations with us, even though I can't understand a word she says. She's such a mommy's girl and follows me around all day. She helps me with laundry and the cooking. I call her my 5th appendage. Here's a little update on the eye situation...

We took her back to the eye doctor after 4 weeks of wearing her glasses. He noticed that her left eye still turned in and prescribed a patch. Ugg...not so fun. Poor Addison cried for hours when we first put that thing on her. And who could blame her? It was big and covered half her face. Thankfully, we found these eye patches made by a sweet family in Tennessee. As you can see in the pictures, they fit her face much better and even came in zebra print! After six weeks with the patch, the doctor determined that her turned in eye was a result of the muscles on the inside corner of her eye being too tight. The only solution is surgery which is scheduled for March 19. It's an out-patient procedure at Rex that lasts for about on hour. Poor girl. I know she'll do fine but I hate the fact that she'll be put under. At least we'll be rid of the patch after the surgery. Keep us in your prayers! Here are some pics of the oh so stylish patch :)

No patch here but you can tell how her left eye turns in further than the right.

She is SO stinkin' cute!!!! I could just eat her and her adorable smile up!!!!

Please remind me of the surgery date when we get a little closer so I can pray hard for her (and you) during that time!

Oh those patterned patches are SO cute! I wonder if Hudson was jealous at all that his sister got to wear a cool pirate patch every single day?

We'll be praying for you guys for the surgery. I can imagine how scary that will be, and I'm sure she'll do great!
